Verstraeten Design was set up by Harko Verstraeten in Mai 1991 , in order to provide high quality design that delivers realistic and achievable projects, without compromising on creativity.

At Verstraeten Design we aim to inspire our clients. We hope to make the process of creating and transforming spaces an enjoyable experience, sharing our vision and knowledge, whilst at the same time providing an excellent quality service.

We understand the constraints of budgets, time and location. We have experience of dealing with commercial realities and complex planning issues. We listen carefully to client�s needs and requirements to establish the brief, which leads on to the creation of a scheme, followed by the detailed design and finally the built form.

We draw our inspiration from completed projects, nature, music, art, film, products etc. In fact anything that provokes an emotional response can be used in the creation of an architectural space, whether it is for living, working, leisure or just for enjoyment. We encourage clients to explore possibilities and to consider light, texture, volume and the enclosure around them.

Our creative team brings enthusiasm and over thirty years of experience on both refurbishment and new build projects, for residential, commercial and educational developments of all sizes.

Harko Verstraeten is trained in Amsterdam and he has extensive experience of both residential and commercial architecture.
